Welcome! I’m the busy mom of a two year old and I work full time in a very stressful job. Cooking and baking are a (productive) stress release for me and I hope to share my enjoyment with others. I have lots of fun memories in the kitchen with my mom and grandmother growing up but I didn’t start “reading” cookbooks until much later when I was living on my own and I spent my rare days off from work watching the Food Network, reading new cookbooks, and trying to bake my way through “Martha Stewart’s Baking Handbook.”
Over the years I’ve collected more than 150 cookbooks, some classics, some focused on one particular food, and others from countries throughout the world on my travels, plus lots of assorted food and cooking magazines. But when my son first came along, if I even had time to cook, I’d be searching for recipes on Pinterest on my iPhone with one hand and snuggling him with the other. Now it’s time to hit the books again and rediscover my cookbook collection in “The Dinner Pages.” Happy eating!
